PR Coordinator is a one-year volunteer position, renewable annually.
This person is a member of the Marketing Committee and works closely
with the Board of Directors member in the Communications Manager role.
PR Coordinator
Develops and executes PR strategy to promote OIWC and its activities to industry press.
Build
and maintain a list of regional consumer publications to increase
awareness of OIWC membership and events to women in those regions.
Develop and execute PR strategy to promote OIWC through these
publications.
Explore other opportunities to promote OIWC and women in the industry to non-industry publications.
Typical
time commitment: approximately 5 hours per month (fluctuates around trades shows); 1-year
commitment.
Must be strong writer with excellent grammar and have experience executing PR strategies.
