OIWC Network Night in Seattle

Online registration is closed.  The event is full. Please join us for the next Network Night in August at Ex Officio. 

This quarter the Seattle Network Night is by Outdoor Research. The event provides a unique opportunity to check out an OIWC sponsor's headquarters while meeting other OIWC members within your region. Only OIWC members can register for the event; each member may be bring 1 guest for $20.

Event details and schedule:

• 4:30-5:00pm: Guests arrive, shop store, General reception/networking with food & drink provide by Outdoor Research
• 5:00-5:30pm: OIWC welcome, VP Address, HR Address, Store Manager Address
• 5:30-6:15pm: Group Discussion on event topic or small group breakout
• 6:15-6:30pm: Group Discussion wrap up
• 6:30-7:00pm: General Reception/Networking & more snacks
• 7:00pm OIWC event wrap up

Network Night will be hosted in the Showroom located off the southern door on 1st Ave.

PARKING: Ample street parking is available on 1st Ave or on Utah Street, 1 block west of OR.  Please do not park in the small store parking lot which is reserved for our retail customers. 

During the event attendees will break into small discussion groups and discuss the OIWC topic of the month,

"Making Decisions"

At any level in your career you need go-to people that help you make career based decisions. Attendees should be prepared to discuss the following:

• Who do you go to in what situation?
• Have you built your personal Board of Directors:
  • How have you done this?
  • Who to use and why?
  • How do you maintain these relationships over the course of your career cycle?
